SCPI Control Mode

The Command Processor feature allows you to send remote commands and data to the analyzer's
rear-panel GPIB connector and Test Set I/O connector. More information regarding the Command
Processor can be found in the Help menu.

Overview of the SCPI Control

The Command Processor allows you to send address and data to control an external test set without
creating a remote program. The user is required to manually input address and data using the
Command Processor Console in the Help menu.
• Command Processor settings can not be saved or recalled.
• Address and data can be written from the Command Processor.

How to Access the Command Processor

To access the Command Processor select Utility > System > Configure > SICL/GPIB/SCPI -OR-
(System Setup > Remote Interface > SCPI Monitor Input > Show SCPI Parser Console), then
check the SCPI Command Processor Console box.
