Controlling the Test Set with N5222A/B, N5232A/B or N5242A/B
Sweep Setup for Multiport and Standalone Modes
When the test set is connected to the network analyzer, it is recommended that the
analyzer's Sweep Setup be configured to Stepped Sweep before calibrating. This is
slower than the Analog Sweep, but is more accurate due to the extra electrical length
of the test set and test port cables. Stepped Sweep is available on all models.
1. On the analyzer select STIMULUS > Sweep > Sweep Setup.
2. Select Stepped Sweep (sweep moves in d iscrete steps).
3. Set the Dwell Time to 5 µs > OK.
