Local/Remote control panel

Overview
The G115D wall-mounted converter is optionally available with an integrated Local/Remote
control (LRC) panel. The LRC panel has been designed to enable the user to take control of
the converter and motor from the automated system. In the local control mode, the user can
precisely control the movement of the motor, for example, starting, stopping and inching the
motor when fitting a new belt to a conveyor section.
The layout of the local/remote control panel is shown in the figure below.
Only effective in local control mode.

Description
If the converter is controlled via macro settings, Startdrive or G120 Smart Access,
the key must be switched to the remote position.
When the key is switched to the off position, the converter will be in standby with
pulses disabled and will ignore any command source inputs. As the keyswitch is
moved from this position a fault reset will occur.
When the key is switched to the local position, the converter ignores the command
source and setpoint source from macro settings, Startdrive or G120 Smart Access.
The converter only reacts to the local buttons on the LRC panel.
The quick stop function enables the converter to react to sensors on a conveyor
segment when items move past the sensor. The quick stop override button disables
the converters reaction to the sensor signals.
