Network topology

Select the network topology type according to the actual network configuration.
Setting is not required and can be left as "Line/Star" (default).

Communication period setting

Perform basic cycle setting and multiple cycle setting.
• Basic cycle setting requires calculation of the communication cycle interval and cyclic transmission time. ( Page 215

• Multiple cycle setting is used when communication cycles coexist. ( Page 40 Communication cycle coexistence)

Select a communication cycle interval.
Input a communication cycle interval.
Necessary time for the system to guarantee the
communication cycle interval.
Of communication cycle intervals, set the time to be allocated
to cyclic transmission.
The value of "Communication Period Interval Setting" minus
"Cyclic Transmission Time" and "System Reservation Time" is
displayed.
Select the "Normal-Speed" cycle for a basic cycle.
Setting is not required and can be left as "4".
Select the "Low-Speed" cycle for a basic cycle.
Setting is not required and can be left as "16".
