CC-Link IE TSN Wiring
This section describes the wiring when using CC-Link IE TSN.
Wiring methods
The following describes connection and disconnection of the Ethernet cable.
■Connecting the cable
1.
Power off the FX5-CCLGN-MS and the external device.
2.
Push the Ethernet cable connector into the FX5-CCLGN-MS until it clicks. Pay attention to the connector's direction.
3.
Lightly pull it to check that it is securely connected.
4.
Power on the FX5-CCLGN-MS and the external device.
5.
Check whether the LINK LED of the port connected with an Ethernet cable is on.
*1 The time between the Ethernet cable connection and the LINK LED turning on may vary. The LINK LED usually turns on in a few
seconds. Note, however, that the time may be extended further if the link-up processing is repeated depending on the status of the
device on the line. If the LINK LED does not turn on, refer to the following and take corrective actions.

Both P1 connector and P2 connectors can be used.
• When only one of P1 and P2 connectors is used in a star topology, either P1 or P2 connector is applicable.
• When both ports are used in a line topology, P1-P1, P2-P2, and P1-P2 connections are acceptable.
■Disconnecting the cable
1.
Power off the FX5-CCLGN-MS.
2.
Press the latch down and unplug the Ethernet cable.
