1.3.1 Normal Operation
To use the instrument in normal operation, without multiple-range or multi-Interval, set the
range to 0 parts.
1.3.2 Multiple-Range
With these settings the weight indicator swithches to a lower display resolution depending on
the GROSS weight on the scale. The multi-range mode can be enabled by setting the mode to
"Multiple-Range" and in field 'range' the number of display parts. Then choose the preferred
max step size by selecting an option in the dropdown menu. The default value is 50.
1.3.3 Multi-Interval
With these settings the weight indicator adjusts its display resolution up and down depending on
the NET weight on the scale. The multi-interval mode can be enabled by setting the mode to
"Multi-Interval" and in field 'range' the number of display parts. Then choose the preferred max
step size by selecting an option in the dropdown menu. The default value is 50. Make sure the
preset tare value is not higher then range 1.
Note: To calculate the maximum preset tare the following formula can be used. Make sure that
the step size set at initialization is used.
preset tare = range * step size
