Always wear chemical-resistant, powder-free gloves when
performing this procedure.
Caution:
• To ensure correct operation of the roughing pump, install it
within 1 degree of horizontal.
• Locate the roughing pump in an area where the ambient
temperature is 12 to 40 ºC (54 to 104 ºF).
• To ensure proper ventilation, install the pump with the
following minimum clearances:
Back-side minimum clearance
