Troubleshooting

Check for resistance between
the solenoid terminals:
No. 1 (RED) and No. 3 (BLK):
Rear Right inlet
No. 2 (RED) and No. 3 (BLK):
Rear Left Inlet
Is there l-3 D?
Y E S
Check for resistance between
the solenoid terminals:
N o . 2 (YEL) a n d ,No. 3 (BLK
Rear Right Outlet
No. 1 (YEL) and No. .i. (BLK):
Rear Left Outlet
Is there l-3 627
Y E S
Disconnect the 20P and 18P
connectors from the control unit.
Check each wire for continuity
between the control unit and rear
solenoid:
YELIWHT: Rear Right Outlet
Rear Left Inlet
Rear Left Outlet
Check YEL/GRN wire for con-
tinuity between the rear fail-safe
relay and control unit.
Is there continuity?
Check for loose control unit con
If necessary, substitute
Faulty solenold.
Faulty solenoid.
Repair open in wire between the
solenoid and control unit:
YELIWHT: Rear Right Outlet
YELIGRN: Rear Left Outlet
Repair open in YELlGRN
between the rear fail-safe relay

and control unit.
