Charging System
5 . Remove the alternator nut, and loosen the through
bolt and adjusting bolt, then remove the belt from
the pulley.
6. Remove the adjusting bolt and through bolt, then al-
ternator from the bracket.

22 N-m (2.2 kg-m, 16 lb-ftl

46 N-m (4.5 kg-m, 33 lb-ft)
7. Alternator installation is the reverse order of removal.
NOTE: Adjust the alternator belt tension after install-
ing (See page 23-l IO).
