Disconnect the 6P connector
from the control box.
Measure voltage between BLK/
YEL (+) terminal on the main wire
harness and body ground.
Reconnect the vacuum pump/
gauge to the #5 hose.
Start the engine and allow it to
idle.

Check for continuity ground on
RED wire of 6P connector.
Replace EQR valve.
Check vacuum hose
routing of the entire
system. If hose
routing is OK, rephce
EGR control solenoid
valve.
Repair open in RED
