Front Brake Disc
Thickness and Parallelism
Inspection
1.
Raise each side of the car and support on safety
stands (page l-6 through 8). Remove the front
wheels.
2.
Remove the brake disc pads (page 19-6).
3. Using a micrometer, measure disc thickness at
eight points, approximately 45' apart and 10 mm
(0.39 in) in from the outer edge of the disc.
Brake disc thickness:
Standard:
Max. Refinishing Limit: 26 mm i 1
Brake Disc Parallelism:
The difference between any

parallelism, refinish the rotor.

NOTE: The reservoir on the master cylinder must be
full at the start of bleeding procedure, and checked
after bleeding each brake caliper. Add fluid as required.

Have someone slowly pump the brake pedal
several times, then apply steady pressure.

Loosen the brake bleed screw to allow air to escape
from the system. Then tighten the bleed
securely.
