Push the TCS switch one time.

Make sure the TCS OFF indicator

Is it normal?

Shift the transmission into
Press the accelerator pedal.

Make sure that the traction con-
trol does not operate and the TCS
activation light does not flash.
Is it normal?

Press the brake pedal and stop the
rear wheels.
Shift the transmission into (NI .
Preform the steering angle sensor
system check (see page 19-96).

Is it normal?

Test drive and return the car to
the customer.

Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Turn the ignition switch ON.
Measure the voltage between the
N . 19 (YEL/GRN)
O
20-P connector for the TCS con-
trol unit and body ground.
Push and release the TCS switch
and make sure that the there is
battery voltage when the switch
is pushed and there is no voltage
when the switch is released.

Replace the TCS control unit.
N O
Replace the TCS control unit.
NOTE: Stop slowly to prevent damage to the sus-
pension.

Repair as necessary.
