Charging System
3. Remove the door sill molding and cowl lining pieces.
4. Remove the 26-P connector from the integrated con-
trol unit on the dash fuse box.
With the engine running, the charge system light
should go off.
NOTE: Don't disconnect all of the connectors from
the dash fuse box.
If the light goes off, there is a short in the integrat-
l
ed control unit.
If the light does not go off, there is a short to
l
ground in the WHT/BLU wire between the light
and the control unit.

RATED CONTROL
5 . Remove the glove box (See section 20) and discon-
nect the 20-P connector from the ALB control unit.
With the engine running, the charge system light
should go off.

6. Disconnect the 18-P connector from the EPS con-
trol unit. With the engine running, the charge light
should go off.
