Remove the control unit (page
2284). Substitute a known-good
control unit and recheck. If sym-
ptom/indication goes away,
replace the original control unit.

Repair open in BLKl
GRN wire between con-
trol unit and in-car tem-
perature sensor.

From the back of the 14-P con-
nector, measure voltage between
No.9 ( + ) terminal and No. 14 (- )
terminal.

Disconnect the 14-P connector
from the climate control unit.
Check for continuity between
No.9 terminal and body ground.
Is there continuity?
Substitute a known-good control
Repair open in RED/
GRN wire between con-
trol unit (No.91 and in-

car temperature sensor.
Repair short in RED/
GRN wire between con-
trol unit (No.9) and in-
car temperature sensor.
