FUEL PUMP REMOVAL AND DISASSEMBLY


Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive.
Keep heat, spark and flame away.
• Remove the fuel tank. (5-3)
• Remove the fuel pump assembly 1 by removing its mounting
bolts diagonally.
• Remove the O-ring 2.
• Remove the clip and then fuel mesh filter 3.
• Remove the band 4.
• Disconnect the fuel hose 5 and fuel pump terminals 6.
• Remove the fuel pump assembly 7.
• Remove the holder 8.
• Remove the fuel pump 9.
FUEL SYSTEM AND THROTTLE BODY 5-7
