Additionally, if a CLA-ATS card fails the CTI application will fail and will not invoke
a control changeover.
Card Description

Card Front Panel
The CLA-ATS front panel, depicted in
Video - RS-232 adapter - for connecting a video terminal to set the card BIOS.
Reset button - causes the CLA-ATS to drop all CTI calls and resets the card.
The card automatically reestablishes a network connection.
IDE Indicator
Power indicator - Green - indicates that the CLA card is active and properly
working when lit.
COM1 Connection- NOT USED
Network Interface- Ethernet/LAN RJ-45 connection
Keyboard/Mouse connector - for connecting a keyboard to set card BIOS.
Ready to Swap Indicator
Card Layout
An ATA type PCMCIA port to house the CFD is located on the card side, see
Figure
8-28.
The 64MB (or more) Compact Flash memory Disk (CFD) contains the card's software
and programming code.
The CLA-ATS card also contains an NMI/watchdog circuit, providing a reset signal
to the Core Module should it detect a failure in the software cycle.
