BIOS Settings for the SBS-CT9
The following table defines the Coral software versions compatible with this
MCP-ATS card model.
The card's BIOS settings are factory configured to match the MCP-ATS card
requirements.
Use the following procedure to verify the correct BIOS settings for the MCP-ATS card
model: SBS-CT9.
1. Ensure that the following procedures have been performed prior to entering the
card BIOS:
a. Insert the CFD
If the CFD has not yet been inserted into the card, remove the MCP-ATS,
SBS-CT9 model, from its slot and insert the CFD into its slot on the card's
side panel. Re-insert the MCP-ATS into its slot.
b. Extract the 32GC
Extract the 32GC, for this system side, from its slot, in order to disable the
MCP-ATS watchdog reset mechanism.
c. Connect Video and Keyboard
Connect a video terminal (VGA connector) and keyboard to the card front
panel.
To enter card BIOS:
2. Reset the MCP-ATS and press DELETE (repeatedly) while the card is loading.
3. The BIOS Setup Utility screen is displayed. The window is divided into seven
different tabs: Main, Advanced, PCIPnP, Boot, Security, Chipset, and Exit.
Before continuing with this procedure, check the BIOS values for the items
listed in
Table
If these values have already been set, then there is no need to continue with
this procedure. Exit BIOS without saving.
4. Use your keyboard's right arrow to select the Exit tab.
5. Use the up/down arrows to select: Load Optimal Defaults and press Enter.
6. Select OK to load optimal defaults.
