Coral Components Discontinuation Announcement:
8XMM cards replace the discontinued 4XMM cards, which are no longer
produced.
The 4/8XMM daughterboard is an optional memory card that is mounted on the 32GC
group controller card. It is an expansion memory module containing either 4 MB or
8MB and is required for added data storage capacity. It also contains the shared
memory capacity utilized by the MCP-ATS and the optional CLA-ATS unit. The
4/8XMM includes 3V lithium battery backup for power protection.
The 4/8XMM card is installed as a piggyback card onto a memory interface connector
on the 32GC and does not occupy its own card slot within the Coral FlexiCom 6000
control shelf.
