Software Installation Procedure
Copying one database file to another destroys the original contents of the destination
file by overwriting it with the contents of the source file. The original destination file
cannot be recovered once it is overwritten.
4. Press Y to begin the database file copy process, or press N to return to the
Database Disk menu. The PI command prompt ( *: ) returns immediately,
however the system processes the command as a background (low priority)
task.
Copying a database file generally takes a few seconds to a few minutes
depending on the system size, provided no other priority tasks are required of
the Main Processor. When the copy process is completed, the system reports:
DB0.DEF COPIED TO DB1.DEF (or vice versa)
