Coral FlexiCom 6000 Installation Manual
Hot Standby Configurations
The Coral FlexiCom 6000 system can be configured as a stand alone system with only
one set of control cards or a Hot Standby redundant system with two sets of control
cards. The redundant system defines an Active and Standby side. The left or right side
of the control shelf is defined as the Active, Standby or Inactive (Maintenance or
Faulty) control side depending on the current system status.
The different Hot Standby configurations are denoted as follows (see below for
switching configurations):

system is on the left.

system is on the right
while the Inactive

the left side.
