8.2 Saving settings on a PC

Procedure
Proceed as follows to automatically retrieve your settings from the memory card:
1. Remove the inverter from the bus module.
2. Insert a memory card with the required settings into the inverter.
3. Mount the inverter on the bus module.
4. Switch on the 24 V inverter supply voltage.
After the power supply has been switched on, the inverter retrieves all of the settings from
the memory card.
8.2 Saving settings on a PC
With the supply voltage switched on, you
can transfer the inverter settings from the
inverter to a PG/PC, or the data from a
PG/PC to the inverter.
This requires you to have installed the
STARTER commissioning tool on your
PG/PC.

Procedure with STARTER
To back up the settings with STARTER, proceed as follows:
1. Go online:
2. Click the "Download project to PG" button:
3. Save the project:
4. Wait until STARTER reports that data backup has been completed.
5. Go offline:
You have backed up the settings with STARTER.
Procedure with Startdrive
To back up the settings with Startdrive, proceed as follows:
1. Go online.
2. Select "Online" > "Upload device to PG/PC."
