Code 8130: "Vertical lens shift stopped" (Warning)
Situation
Motor Control Board not calibrated.
Vertical shift motor disconnected.
Malfunction vertical shift motor.
Code 8131: "Vertical lens shift stopped" (Error)
This error code is probably preceded by the warning code 8130: "Vertical lens shift stopped". The same troubleshooting table can
be applied to.
Code 8132: "Lens focus stopped" (Warning)
Situation
Lens not mounted.
Focus range not calibrated.
Lens malfunction.
Code 8133: "Lens focus stopped" (Error)
This error code is probably preceded by the warning code 8132: "Lens focus stopped". The same troubleshooting table can be
applied to.
Code 8134: "Lens zoom stopped" (Warning)
Situation
Lens not mounted.
Zoom range not calibrated.
Lens malfunction.
Code 8135: "Lens zoom stopped" (Error)
This error code is probably preceded by the warning code 8134: "Lens zoom stopped". The same troubleshooting table can be
applied to.
Code 8502: "Reading lamp info module" (Error)
Situation
Damaged Lamp Info module
sockets.
Wire unit of the Lamp Info module
socket is disconnected from the
Power Backplane.
Malfunction Lamp Info Module. The
projector can not read from the
installed Lamp Info Module.
Malfunction internal RS485
communication line. The FCB, MCB
and CLO also reports "read errors".
Code 8520: "Tilt rotation not allowed" (Warning)
Situation
The projector is tilted in a position
which is not allowed.
Tilt sensor is not calibrated.

Solution
Calibrate the Motor Control Board. See "Calibrate Motor Control Board", page 286.
Check if the wire unit of the vertical shift motor is connected with the motor.
Replace the vertical shift motor. See "Replacement of the Vertical Shift stepper motor",
page 234.

Install lens. See installation manual of the HDF projector.
Calibrate the lens. See installation manual of the HDF projector.
Replace lens. See installation manual of the HDF projector.

Install lens. See installation manual of the HDF projector.
Calibrate the lens. See installation manual of the HDF projector.
Replace lens. See installation manual of the HDF projector.
Solution
1.
Check if the blue socket at the front of the Lamp House (reference 1 image 5-11) is
not damaged. If damaged, replace the Lamp Info module.
2.
Check if the blue socket inside the Lamp House compartment (reference 2
image 5-12) is not damaged. If damaged, replace the main wire tree.
Reconnect the wire unit (reference 6 image 5-13) with the Power Distribution board.
In case no other "board read errors" appears, replace the Lamp Info Module. The Lamp
Info Module is located inside the Lamp House, behind the blue socket.
Disconnect the boards one by one from the internal RS485 line until this error disappears.
Replace the board which makes this error goes away. See chapter "Projector block
diagram", page 15, to know which boards are using the internal RS485 communication
line. If the problem remains replace the PMP. See "Replacing the PMP board", page 156.
Solution
Ensure that the right side (input side) of the projector doesn't face the ceiling. To know
the exact tilting range see installation manual of the HDF projector.
Calibrate the tilt sensor. See installation manual of the HDF projector for tilt sensor
calibration procedure.
