5. Troubleshooting

Code 6051: "Board id: motor control board write error" (Error)
Situation
Malfunction Motor Control board.
The projector can not write to the
installed Motor Control board.
Code 6052: "Board id: lamp info module unknown format" (Warning)
Situation
Old projector software installed.
The ID parameters of the Lamp
Info Module are written in a format
which is not known by the projector
software.
Lamp Info Module has invalid
firmware.
Corrupt projector software.
Code 6053: "Board id: lamp info module board not accessible" (Error)
Situation
Only the ID parameters of the Lamp
Info module are not accessible. The
ID parameters of all other boards are
accessible.
The Board ID of all other boards
are also NOT accessible. This
may indicates a malfunction I²C
functionality on the PMP board.
Malfunction Lamp Info module
(reference 3 XXXX).
Code 6054: "Board id: lamp info module read error" (Error)
Situation
No Lamp House installed.
Damaged Lamp Info module
sockets.
Wire unit of the Lamp Info module
socket is disconnected from the
Power Backplane.

Solution
Replace the Motor Control board. See "Replacing the motor control board (MCB)",
page 283.
Solution
Check if the version of the installed projector software is the latest available version. The
latest version can be downloaded from https://my.barco.com.
Replace the Lamp House. See "Removal of the lamp house", page 119.
Reinstall the latest projector software.
Solution
Ignore this error message unless other functionality of the Lamp Info module fails as
well. If so, replace the Lamp Info module. See XXXXX.

Reboot the projector.

Replace the PMP board. See "Replacing the PMP board", page 156.
Replace the Lamp Info module. The Lamp Info Module is located inside the Lamp
House, behind the blue socket. See XXXX.
Solution
Install the Lamp House. See "Installation of the lamp house", page 121.

Check if the blue socket at the front of the Lamp House (reference 1 image 5-11) is
not damaged. If damaged, replace the Lamp Info module. See "Lamp info module
replacement", page 138.
2.
Check if the blue socket inside the Lamp House compartment (reference 2
image 5-12) is not damaged. If damaged, replace the main wire tree.
Reconnect the wire unit (reference 6 image 5-13) with the Power distribution board.
