Code 7608: "Green DMD temp high" (Warning)
Situation
Blocked filter of the Light Processor
compartment. The other DMD
temperatures are too high as well.
The liquid cooling circuit of the Light
Processor is not connected with the
main liquid cooling circuit. Most
likely the other DMD temperatures
are too high as well.
The wire unit of the temperature
sensor (NTC) of the DMD in the
GREEN channel is disconnected
from the Power Backplane.
The wire units of two temperature
sensors (NTC's) have been
swapped. While the temperature of
one DMD is too high, the other will
most likely be too low.
Malfunction Fan Control board.
Defect temperature sensor
(reference 18 image 5-20) which
measures the temperature of the
DMD of the GREEN channel.
Code 7609: "Green DMD temp high" (Error)
This error code is probably preceded by the warning code 7608: "Green DMD temp high". The same troubleshooting table can be
applied to.
Code 7610: "Green DMD temp open" (Error)
Situation
The wire unit of the temperature
sensor (NTC) of the DMD in the
GREEN channel is disconnected
from the Power Distribution board.
Damaged wire unit of the
temperature sensor (reference
18 image 5-20 and image 5-18)
which measures the temperature of
the DMD of the GREEN channel.
Defect temperature sensor
(reference 18 XXXX) which
measures the temperature of the
DMD of the GREEN channel.
Code 7611: "Green DMD temp short" (Error)
Situation
Damaged wire unit of the
temperature sensor (reference
18 image 5-20 and image 5-18)
which measures the temperature of
the DMD of the GREEN channel.
Defect temperature sensor
(reference 18 image 5-20) which
measures the temperature of the
DMD of the GREEN channel.

Solution
Ensure that the air inlets of the projector are not blocked. Replace a dirty filter with a
new one.
Check of the cooling circuit of the Light Processor is connected with the pump and heat
exchanger. See reference 1 & 2 image 5-17.
Check if the wire unit (reference 19 image 5-18) of the temperature sensor of the DMD in
the GREEN channel is connected with the power Distribution board.
Check if the wire units of all temperature sensors (NTC's) are plugged in there respective
connector sockets on the Power Distribution board. See image 5-18.
Reference 16 image 5-18: Light Processor compartment ambient temperature
sensor.
Reference 17 image 5-18: Temperature sensor DMD BLUE channel.
Reference 18 image 5-18: Temperature sensor DMD GREEN channel.
Reference 19 image 5-18: Temperature sensor DMD RED channel.
Replace the Fan Control Board. See "Replacing the Fan control board", page 278.
Replace the temperature sensor on the cooling block of the GREEN channel.
Solution
Check if the wire unit (reference 18 image 5-18) of the temperature sensor of the DMD in
the GREEN channel is connected with the power distribution board.
Repair or replace the wire unit.
Replace the temperature sensor on the cooling block of the GREEN channel.
Solution
Repair or replace the wire unit.
Replace the temperature sensor on the cooling block of the GREEN channel.
