4.7.3.2 BILEVEL ST operative mode
Pressure support ventilation time cycled with e granted
minimum breathing frequency and leaks compensation
up to 60 lt/min.
The system shows the PRF of the operative mode set.
The BILEVEL ST is a time cycled spontaneous ventilation.
This ventilation is synchronized with the spontaneous patient activity through a flow
trigger on which it is possible to set the sensitivity to detect the breathing start (Trig. I)
and also the end of the inspiration (Trig. E). This is made setting the inspiration flow
maximum peak percentage when the inspiratory phase should end. During the
inspiration phase the IPAP pressure value set is joined, then during the expiratory
phase the EPAP value will be joined..
