2.5.2 Ventilation modes selection
Modality with expiratory valve enable

The ventilator has the most modern ventilation modes: pressure controller
and pressure assisted.
The ventilation modes can be set in the SETUP-Ventilation mode Menu.
Pressure controlled ventilation with leak compensation
Assisted pressure controlled ventilation, synchronised with patient's
breathing with leak compensation.
Pressure support ventilation with a safety breathing frequency set to
grant a minimum of breathings (Apnea Back-Up) and leaks
compensation.
Pressure support ventilation with assured current volume and
assured safety respiratory rate set by the clinician (Apnea Back-Up).
Pressure-targeted synchronised intermittent mandatory ventilation.
