Patient circuit conenction

Before connecting the device to the patient, it is necessary to choice the patient circuit type and the
relevant ventilation mode sto be used (ref 4.7)

Patient circuit with Expiratory Valve:
Connect the patient circuit supplied with the
ventilator to the INSP. TO PATIENT line and
the hose of the expiratory valve to the V.EXP
connector (expiratory line fo the patient).
Please, ntoe that in order to use the patient
circuit with expiratory valve, it is necessary to
sue the unidirectional connector showed in
the photo.

Patient circuit with Whisper:
Connect the circuit to the INSP. TO
PATIENT line after replacing the connector
showed in the photo aside.

Patient Connector
It is necessary to replace the patient connector with the correct type
according to the patient circuit type you would connect to the device in
order to ventilate the patient properly. Please refer to the above photos
Expiratory valve activation/deactivation
Before using the system with the patient circuit with expiratory valve or
without the valve, it is necessary to select the citcuit type on the SETUP
menu of the ventilator (ref.4.7).
