Set the low pressure alarm limit to 5 cmH
•
Disconnect the patient simulator from the patient circuit during
ventilation.
•
After about 20 seconds the system activates the airways low
pressure alarm: silence the alarm.
•
Reconnect the patient simulator.
•
Set the low respiratory rate (high respiratory rate) alarm limit to
15 bpm (15 bpm).
•
During ventilation please set RR = 10 bpm (RR = 20 bpm).
•
The system activates the low (high) respiratory rate alarm:
silence the alarm.
•
Restore the default alarm value.

Set the low alarm limit to Vt 250 ml.

During the ventilation, set a value to obtain a pressure value
lower than the value of the alarm.

The Low Inspiration Vt is activated : silence the alarm.

Set again the alarm to its default value.

Set the High alarm limit to Vt 500 ml.

During the ventilation, set a value to obtain a pressure value
higher than the value of the alarm.

The High Inspiration Vt is activated : silence the alarm.

Set again the alarm to its default value.
