B.4.1.1
To install a sample loop:
1.
Use the 5/16-inch wrench to disconnect the sample loop from the pressure transducer, and
the needle tee on the injector assembly. (See
78.)
2.
Connect one end of the sample loop to the needle tee.
3.
Connect the open end of the new sample loop to the pressure transducer.
4.
Use the wrenches to tighten the connections.
5.
Connect the power cable, and power-on the separations module.
6.
Enter the new sample loop volume in the Configuration screen. (See
separations module" on page
7.
Perform a purge and compression check, and check for leaks. (See
page 105

Reinstall the right-hand side panel
This procedure applies only to a separations module with no column heater or column
heater/cooler option. If the column heater or column heater/cooler option is installed, see
for instructions on how to reinstall the side panel on the separations module.
To reinstall the panel:
1.
Mount the side panel on the rear panel posts.
2.
Slide the side panel forward, aligning the outlet tube with the slot in the side panel.
3.
Install the screws on the side panel.
