Create and edit a sample set

A sample set is a table of instructions that the separations module uses to perform an automated
run in a standalone mode. During a run, the separations module performs the function in each row
of the table sequentially.
To create and edit a sample set:
1.
On the Main screen, click the Develop Methods screen key.
2.
On the Methods screen, click the New screen key.
3.
Click the Sample Set screen key.
4.
Name the sample set, and then click Enter.
Tip:
The separations module automatically adds the appropriate extension.
5.
Enter information in the Sample Set table as appropriate.
6.
Press Exit to display a dialog box that asks if you want to save the changes.
Function
Sets the wavelength of the
detector.
Sets the time constant of the
filter in the detector.
Sets the absorbance units full
scale to adjust the sensitivity
of the detector.
Sends a chart mark signal to
the output terminals.
Sets the polarity of the analog
output.
Performs an autozero on the
detector.
Turns the lamp on and off.
