Tailgate strut: Removal - Refitting

REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
a
WARNING
The strut is fitted in such a way as to prevent
leaks. Note the strut's direction of fitting (position
of the body and cylinder rod) before removal in
order to refit the strut in the identical position.
II - REMOVAL OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Unclip the clips (1) without removing them.
a Remove the tailgate strut (2) while holding the tail-
gate.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING PREPARATIONS OPERATION
a Position the clips (1) on the tailgate strut.
II - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Refit the tailgate strut (2) .
