a Adjust the Y play by moving the rear lower section of
the front electric window mechanism.
a Tighten the lower nut of the rear rail of the front side
door electric window mechanism (be careful not to
move the rear rail of the front side door electric win-
dow mechanism when tightening the nut).
a Remove the shim.
a Close the front side door.
a Open the front side door and lower the front side
door sliding window completely (this action allows
the front rail of the front side door electric window
mechanism to be positioned correctly).
a Tighten the lower nut of the front rail of the front side
door electric window mechanism (be careful not to
move the front rail of the front side door electric win-
dow mechanism when tightening the nut).
a Check that the front side door sliding window is
working by raising and lowering the window com-
pletely in one-touch mode.
a Raise the front side door sliding window fully.
a Close the front side door again.
a Check that the front side door sliding window is in
the right position.
a Refit the blanking covers (3) .
a Remove the masking tape from the front side door
sliding window.
Note:
It is possible to carry out a finishing adjustment
on the Y axis without having to remove the front
side door trim.
a Remove the blanking covers (3) .

a Check the flush-fitting of the front side door sliding
window in relation to the rear quarter panel window:
- if the front side door sliding window comes out too
far in relation to the rear quarter panel window:
loosen the nuts and push the rear rail of the front
side door electric window mechanism towards the
vehicle exterior.
- if the front side door sliding window does not come
out enough in relation to the rear quarter panel win-
dow: loosen the nuts and push the rear rail of the
front side door electric window mechanism towards
the inside of the vehicle.
a Refit the front side door trim (see Front side door
trim: Removal - Refitting) (72A, Side opening ele-
ments trim).
a Carry out a sealing test (see Technical Note 653A).
