Note:
When removing and refitting the rear screen, do
not damage the upper and lower rear screen
seals. The seals are not sold separately. In this
case, use the pneumatic tool for removing
bonded windows (see Tec hnical Note 560A)
REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
a Remove:
- the tailgate trim (see Tailgate trim: Removal - Re-
fitting) (73A, Non-side opening elements trim),
- the rear screen wiper arm (see Rear screen wiper
arm: Removal - Refitting) (85A, Washing - Wip-
ing),
- the rear screen wiper motor (see Rear screen wip-
er motor: Removal - Refitting) (85A, Washing -
Wiping),
- the high level brake light (see 3rd brake light: Re-
moval - Refitting) (81A, Rear lighting).
a Disconnect the heated rear screen wiring harness.

a Disconnect the aerial amplifier connectors (1) .
a Remove the side seals (2) .
a Protect the area around the rear screen with mask-
ing tape.
