4 - FINAL STEP FOR ADJUSTING THE FLUSH
FITTING OF A FRONT SIDE DOOR (1st ASSEMBLY)
a Connect the battery (see Battery: Removal - Refit-
ting) (MR 415, 80A, Battery).
a Inject wax for hollow sections into the door box sec-
tion through the wiring harness sleeve opening. Win-
dow closed.
II - ADJUSTING THE REAR SIDE DOOR
CLEARANCES
a Remove the front wing (see 42A, Front upper
structure, Front wing: Removal - Refitting, page
42A-3) .
a Replace the original indexing studs (9) with bolts
(10) , available from the Parts Department to en-
able the flush fitting to be adjusted.
Note:
T o increase the adjustment available, enlarge the
holes on the original hinges.
After-Sales hinges are supplied with square
slots.

Front side door: Adjustment

a Undo the front side door hinge bolts (11) .
a Adjust the rear side door clearances.
a Tighten the front side door hinge bolts (11) .
a Refit the front wing (see 42A, Front upper struc-
ture, Front wing: Removal - Refitting, page 42A-
3) .
