Views (1)—The Views menu identifies the currently selected view. Most List panes have several views
that you can select by clicking the down arrow (
Actions (2)—The Actions menu allows you to perform actions on one or more resources that you have
selected in the list pane. If you do not have permission to perform an action, the action is not displayed in
the menu. Also, some actions might not be displayed due to system configurations, user roles, or
properties of the selected resource.
Notifications box (3)—The notifications box is displayed when an alert or task has affected the resource.
Resource detail (4)—Information for the selected view is displayed in the resource detail area.

Collecting log files

For a service event, it might be necessary to collect the HPE 3PAR Service Processor (SP) log files for
Hewlett Packard Enterprise Support.
Collecting the SmartStart log files—SP 4.x
NOTE:
You can continue to access the HPE 3PAR SmartStart log files in the Users folder after you have
removed HPE 3PAR SmartStart from your storage system.
Procedure
1. Locate folder: C:\Users\<username>\SmartStart\log.
2. Zip all the files in the log folder.
