Component identification

NOTE:
• The illustrations of components are examples only and might not accurately represent the

• Due to the large number of prospective configurations, component placement and internal
cabling is standardized to simplify installation and maintenance. The components are placed in
the rack according to the principles outlined in these topics, and are numbered according to their
order and location in the rack.

Adapters (optional)

The types of HPE 3PAR StoreServ 7000 Storage Host PCIe Adapters that are available are dependent on
the model and configuration. The Host PCIe Adapters are an optional component for the storage system.
IMPORTANT:
Only an authorized service provider is permitted to install the Adapters.
