To disconnect the instrument cables:
1. Make sure that the instrument is not running.
2. Turn off the connected computer.
3. Switch the power switch on the rear of the instrument to the off position.
4. Unplug the power cord from the power port on the rear of the instrument.
5. Unplug the power cord from the grounded electrical wall outlet.
6. Disconnect the computer cable from the USB port on the rear of the instrument.
7. Disconnect the computer cable from the controlling computer.
8. Store the power cord and the computer cable in the instrument accessories toolbox.
Packing the Instrument
The original packaging is specifically designed to protect the instrument during
transportation.
Detection cartridges must be packed and shipped separately from the instrument.

CAUTION! When transporting the instrument, warranty claims are void if damage
during transport is caused by improper packing.
To pack the instrument in the original packaging:
1. Make sure that all detection cartridges and microplates have been removed and the
transport locks have been installed. See

3. Make sure that the power switch on the rear of the instrument is in the off position and
that the power cord and USB cables are disconnected from the instrument. See

4. Store the power cord and the USB cable in the instrument accessories toolbox.
5. If applicable, make sure the gas supply line is disconnected. See
