DHCP client

When Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) Internet Protocol (Dynamic IP) is selected, the WAN
IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway IP address will be obtained automatically. If you are connected to
the Internet through a cable modem line, dynamic IP will be assigned.

PPPoE

Some ISPs provide DSL-based services and use Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet (PPPoE) to establish
communication links with end-users. If you are connected to the Internet through a DSL line, check with your
ISP to see if they use PPPoE. If they do, you need to configure the following:
1. User name: Type the username provided by your ISP.
2. Password: Type the password provided by your ISP.
3. Click the Apply button.
