Changing between alpha and numeric characters
To change between upper-case and lower-case letters and numbers in an editable screen:

To move the cursor across the text:

To enter another letter on the same key, wait until the cursor moves to the next
space...
...then press the key repeatedly until the letter you want is displayed.
To enter a letter on another key, press the key for the letter.
You do not need to wait until the cursor moves to the next space.
Press # to change the character/case indicator at the bottom right of the screen from
A to a to #.
When you are prompted to enter a call address, the types of
NOTE
characters that you can enter are determined by the call systems
installed in the transceiver.
Use or to move the cursor left or right respectively.
