Pass/Fail Judgment for Color Difference

With this instrument, tolerances can be set for the color difference of the sample data from the target color data to
perform judgment. For the procedure on setting tolerances, refer to page 62 "Tolerance Settings" and page
66 "Default Tolerance Setting".
If target color data is deleted, neither the color difference display for the data nor the pass/fail judgment based on
the tolerances set to the data will be performed. If other target color data is selected, or another target color is
assigned to the target color number of the deleted data, recalculations and pass/fail judgments will be performed.

Pass/Fail Judgment Based on Tolerances

If the measured color difference is outside the tolerances set for the target color, the value will be highlighted in
red to indicate that the judgment result is "Fail". By setting the warning level (page 63), even if the sample does
not exceed the tolerance, that item will be highlighted with yellow and a warning will be issued if the sample nears
the tolerance. Both maximum and minimum tolerances can be set for each target color.
Pass/fail judgments based on color difference tolerances are displayed as follows.
Before using this function, the color difference tolerances must be set.
