Template Editor
Frame Byte-Pattern Definitions
To change the byte contents of the frame template, select the desired field strings on the right
from the tree structure. The values in the hex display on the left will change. You can also
enter hex values (or Xs for "don't care" bits) directly into the offsets on the left. An example of
editing the frame byte-pattern for the Fibre Channel Data Payload frame template is shown
below.

Ordered Set Byte-Pattern Definitions
To change the byte contents of a traffic ordered set (FC or GigE), select the type from the
pull-down menu. You can also enter hex values (or Xs for "don't care" bits) directly into the
fields.
Bit-Pattern Definitions
Bit level definitions are possible by double-clicking on a byte within a template for a frame,
which brings up the Binary Editor. Click the bit in the
