Disabling a Web browser
proxy connection
This appendix explains how to configure Internet Explorer and
Netscape web browsers so that they will not connect to the
Internet through a proxy server. These procedures may be used to
configure the browser on either the installer laptop or the site
computer.
The following topics are discussed:
• Internet Explorer on page 111
• Netscape on page 112
1. Turn the computer on and launch Internet Explorer (IE).
2. Select
Tools→ Internet Options
3. Select the Connections tab as shown in Figure 67.
