(3) AE sensor level adjustment

Execute Sim 47. (The mirror base scans and stops at the AE
sensor level measurement point.)

Put 4 or 5 sheets of A3 (11" x 17") paper on the original table.

Press the START key again, and the AE sensor output level with
the white paper original will be displayed on the copy quantity
display.
The output level is stored.
(4) Drum sensitivity setting

Execute simulation 26-07 and check that the top of the 9-digit
drum number printed on the flange in the drum front frame side is
displayed on the copy quantity display.

If the display is different from the drum number, press the 10-key
pad to change the setting.
(Note) When entering with the 10-key pad, the display is limited to 1
∼ 3 only.
(5) Test chart setting

Put 4 or 5 sheets of white paper (specified by Sharp) of 120mm
wide and 420mm long on the original table in the center reference.

Place the test chart (UKOG-0162FCZZ) as shown in the figure
below.

(6) Copy density adjustment
A. Developing bias output voltage check
Execute simulation 8-01 to check that the developing bias output is
–200V ±5V.
B. Manual density adjustment
(1) Normal mode adjustment

Execute simulation 46 for copy density adjustment.
The exposure data of the manual density mode is displayed on
the copy quantity display.

Check that "1" of the manual density mode is displayed on the
LCD panel.
If the display is other than "1," set the manual density mode to "1"
with the exposure select key and the exposure key.

Make a copy.
Check that "6" of UKOG-0162FCZZ is slightly copied (0.5 of
UKOG-0089FCZZ is clearly copied).
<When too light> Make the value displayed on the copy quantity
display smaller.
<When too dark> Make the value displayed on the copy quantity
display greater.
@ The range of set values is 450 ∼ 800.

When the copy density is within the specified range, press the
dark exposure key to set the manual exposure mode "5."

Check that "2" of UKOG-0162FCZZ (0.2 of UKOG-0089FCZZ) is
clearly copied.
