Remove the harnesses, and remove the No. 4/5 mirror unit.
@ When disassembling, measure the size of "A" with a scale to
control tilting of the No. 4/5 mirror unit (which causes improper
focusing or skew copying).
When assembling, fit to the size.

If the position is shifted considerably, loosen two set screws of the
A
pulley, and fit the wire winding pulley (front/rear) together.
Tighten two set screws of the pulley.

@ Perform the same procedures in the front frame side and in the
7 – 11
Check and confirm the stop position of the wire winding pulley.
Check that the wire grooves of the wire winding pulley in the frons
and the rear sides are in the same position.
Hook the mirror base wire fixture on the hook of the tension
adjustment plate.
Pass the mirror base wire along the groove outside the mirror
base B pulley.
At that time, allow a clearance of 2mm in the optical section notch
and the mirror base B.
Pass the mirror base wire along the groove of the paper feed side
pulley.
Pass the mirror base wire under the mirror base B and wind it
around the winding pulley.
At that time, fix the winding pulley wire groove on the upper side,
wind the mirror base wire 9 turns, and put the 8th turn in the
groove.

The first turn of the mirror base wire must be 9 ∼ 10mm toward
the copier frame from the pulley groove.
Pass the mirror base wire along the paper exit side pulley groove.
Pass the mirror base wire along the groove inside the mirror base
B pulley.
Pass the mirror base wire through the wire guide.
Hook the mirror base wire tension spring in the long hole in the
optical base plate.
