Press the message forward scroll key three times to set the LCD
section to the void amount adjustment mode.

Make a copy with the OC cover open. Adjust so that the edge of
the black background copy comes to 1 ~ 3mm of the copy scale
image. When the normal copy lead edge void area adjustment set
value is changed by 1, the void area is varied by about 0.5mm.
The greater the set value is, the greater the void area is.

Make a normal copy and check that the image loss and the void
area are within the specified range.
(Specified values) Image loss: 0 ∼ 4mm
Void area:

Press the clear key to cancel simulation 50-01.
(Note) When the RRC-A and the RRC-B values are changed
with simulation 50-01, be sure to adjust the copy lead
edge void area.
<Setting with simulation 50-02>
The key operations and the displays are the same as those of simula-
tion 50-01. In simulation 50-02, the lead edge adjustment can be
simply performed by directing setting the L1 and L2 values.
The void area adjustment is also the same as that of simulation
50-01.
Adjustment procedure

Put the scale on the original table.
C → ë → 0 → ë → 5 → 0 → PSW → 2 → PSW

With the above key operation, simulation 50-02 is executed and
the machine starts warming up.
L1: Lead edge shift amount at 200% (FFFmm, 3 digits)
L2: Lead edge shift amount at 100% (vvvmm, 3 digits)
Use the message forward scroll key ( → ) and the program key

( P ) and the 10-key pad to set L1 and L2 to zero, and make
copies at 100% and 200%.
0 → 0 → 0 → P → → → 0 → 0 → 0 → PSW
(A copy at 100% is made.)
Enlargement key → (Lens shift, ready) → PSW (A copy at
200% is made.)

For each of 100% and 200% copies, measure the distance be-
tween the paper lead edge and the scale image lead edge, and
enter L1 and L2 with the message forward scroll key ( → ) and
the program key ( P ) and the 10-key pad. With this procedure,
the RRC-A and the RRC-B values of simulation 50-01 are auto-
matically calculated and stored.
Input procedure
(Example) When L1 is 24.5mm and L2 is 15.0mm.
2 → 4 → 5 → P → → → 1 → 5 → 0 → PSW

After that, check and adjust shifts in zooming and the image void
loss amount similarly to simulation 50-01.
