8. Mount the sorter connector cover.
Reinsert the sorter connector cover, which was removed in step 6,
into the rear cabinet panel, then secure it with the mounting screw.

9. Reattach the front panel of the sorter.
Use the four mounting screws to reattach the front panel of the sorter
removed in step (6) in its original position.

10. Attach the caster unit.
Loosen the two caster mounting screws on the sorter seat, then
attach the caster unit as shown and tighten the two caster mounting
screws.
Confirm that the caster of the caster unit is in the uppermost position.
If not, turn the caster knob to raise the caster to the uppermost
position.

11. Adjust the clearance between the sorter and the
copier.
Push the sorter gently against the copier's left cabinet panel.
Clearance spacers
The clearance spacers on the sorter paper guide will determine the
standard clearance between the sorter and the copier. Turn the ad-
justment screws on the sorter seat to adjust the clearance so that the
spacers are touching the copier.
