(7) Slide the empty toner cartridge back along the
guides and remove it.

The cartridge opening will be closed as it is moved back along the
guides.
(8) Close the toner hopper cover.
NOTE:
Add only one cartridge of toner.
Note
Supply only one toner cartridge for one time. If two or more
cartridges are supplied, toner will flow out.
10. Initial toner density level registration
(AUtomatic developer adjustment)

Insert the developing unit into the copier and press it onto the
photoconductor drum with the pressure lever.

Check that the process unit, the transport unit, and the fusing unit
are securely installed.

Close the front covers (L and R).

Connect the power plug and turn on the power switch.

Execute simulation 25-02.
The drum motor rotates and the developing unit is driven for 3
minutes. After 3 minutes,the initial toner density level is sensed by
the toner density sensor and stored in the memory of the main
PWB.
Procedure: C → ë → 0 → ë → 2
START → 2 → START

For automatic developer adjustment, check the following and per-
form it.
•
Check that the cleaner blade is in close contact with the photocon-
ductor.
•
Check that each charger unit is installed.

Cancel the simulation mode.
