4. Four-stage tray, large capacity tray (LCC) paper
feed unit
Major parts: Paper feed roller, separation (reverse) roller, take-up
roller, paper feed roller spring clutch, pick-up solenoid,
separation (reverse) roller spring clutch
Disassembly procedures
(The following descriptions are made on the four-stage tray, however,
are similar to the large capacity tray in the parts and the mechanism.)

Remove the set screw, and remove the paper feed unit from the
copier.

Remove the set screw, and remove the connector of the paper
feed roller spring clutch harness, and remove the paper feed roller
spring clutch.

Remove the E-ring, and remove the paper feed roller gear and the
linkage gear.

Remove the brake spring, the stopper, and the bearings (R and
L).

Remove the take-up roller and the paper feed roller assembled in
a unit.

Remove pick-up lever L, and remove the take-up roller and the
paper feed roller.

Remove the spring, and remove the solenoid lever.
8
Remove the pick-up solenoid harness connector, and remove the
pick-up solenoid.
9
Remove the E-ring, and remove the separation (reverse) roller
gear and the bearing.

Remove the stopper, and remove the separation (reverse) roller
lever and the spring.
