Turn the MG roller with a screwdriver to attach the developer to
the MG.

Attach the DV joint.

Attach the developing unit to the copier.

9. Toner supply to the toner hopper
* After completion of automatic developer adjustment, supply toner.
* Shake the toner cartridge well before setting it.
(1) Open the toner hopper cover.
NOTE: Do not press down on the open toner hopper cover.
(2) Hold the toner cartridge horizontally and
vigorously shake it lengthwise about 20 times to
loosen the toner. This will allow the toner to flow
more easily into the toner hopper.
(3) Place the new toner cartridge with the tabs in
the notches as shown.
(4) Slide the toner cartridge along the guides over
the toner hopper.
(5) Hold the toner cartridge with one hand while
pulling on the sealing tape to remove it.
(6) Tap on the top of the toner cartridge 5 times to
release all toner into the toner hopper.

It will take about 30 seconds for the toner to flow into the toner
hopper. Do not remove the toner cartridge until it is empty.
