4. Remove the front panel of the sorter.
Loosen the four mounting screws in the front panel of the sorter and
remove the panel.

5. Place the sorter on the sorter seat.
While holding the handle, place the sorter gently on the sorter seat's
guide rails.
When doing this, confirm that the rollers at the front and rear of the
sorter are correctly seated on the sorter seat as shown.

6. Remove the sorter connector cover.
Remove the mounting screw which secures the sorter connector
cover to the copier's rear cabinet panel, then remove the sorter con-
nector cover.
7. Connect the sorter connectors.
Loosely install in the position shown in the illustration one of the two
bracket mounting screws which come packed with the sorter. Hook
the bottom of the bracket onto the mounting screw, use the other
bracket mounting screw to secure the top of the bracket, then tighten
down the loosely installed screw.
Next, connect the 6-pin and 10-pin sorter connectors to the 6-pin and
10-pin connectors of the copier and insert the tie band into the hole
under the installation part.
